Wedding Bush Dance, March 2019

Sorry I haven’t written sooner, we’ve had a busy week with all our family still down in Tassie but we really wanted to say thank you so much for putting on the best bush dance of our lives!! We have had the best feedback, everyone really loved it and had such a great time! The band played so well and your skills at calling made everyone feel welcome and able to have a go – just what we’d hoped for! So thank you very very much!
Thanks so much again and rest assured we will pass on your details should anyone else want to host a bush dance!
All the very best,

Heritage Fiddles+As the Crow Flies+CC Thornley at Bright Eyes, 22nd Dec

THFE shines with As The Crow Flies and CC Thornley at the Bright Eyes Cafe Saturday 22nd December, 2018

Bring your friends, your family – or just yourself – for a joyful evening of lively music from the Tasmanian Heritage Fiddle Ensemble, under the wonderful Musical Direction of young performers Emily Wolfe and Violet Harrison-Day.

The THFE has a whole new repertoire including influences from Scotland, Sweden and China, along with traditional Tasmanian tunes and featuring a bunch of fiddles, banjo, mandolin, cello, guitar and Erhu (Chinese fiddle)!

There will be special guests, As The Crow Flies and CC Thornley who will complement the THFE sets with a set of their own home-grown fabulous tunes!

It’ll be a cracker for your festive season!
